Danny brings over 30 years of diverse experience in Alberta’s Energy, Agricultural and International Trade sectors.

Danny has been actively involved in the SE region’s business activities all his life, initially through his family farm & cattle operation in Bindloss, Alberta, business interests in Medicine Hat and later in life through Energy and International trade activities.  Specifically he has been involved in establishing an investment attraction strategy in this area working with the Southeast Alberta Economic Development Alliance.

He develops international projects & markets, delivering unique solutions by way of leveraging Canadian technologies, financing and government funding.



  • Working successfully for over 30 years in International Trade and business development, Danny has developed an excellent network of friends, colleagues and insightful contacts that is very valuable in attracting new business to the SE region. He has personally represented a long list of companies and their technologies internationally and knows what it takes to be successful. Danny brings excellent relationships with Economic Development agencies, Provincial & Federal Governments in Canada and abroad and has extensive experience in professional speaking, trade mission representation & international meeting engagements.

  • Golden Spike Energy – co-founder, exploring oil & gas properties in Alberta & Saskatchewan.

  • Corporativo Agropecuario Industrial – managing director in Mexican corporation which owns and develops agriculture technology in Mexico.

  • Developed and managed the Canadian, US and Mexican divisions of Fieldberg Charolais, a purebred cattle operation, including the importation and exportation of live cattle from Europe, Australia, USA & Mexico.

  • Developed a beef exportation business and established an IVF embryo laboratory and a purebred Charolais Herd in Sonora, Mexico. He has the distinction of producing the first IVF embryos and live animals in Mexico.  Danny was directly involved at the ownership and management level, in the extensive world-wide syndication and marketing of animal genetics.

  • Sat as a Director on the Calgary Economic Development Tri-lateral (Calgary, Phoenix, Hermosillo) Sister Cities Committee, the Canadian Council for the Americas, the Alberta Export/Import Association, the Sonora/Arizona Committee – CANAMEX Corridor, as well as the CANAMEX Corridor Liaison between Alberta, US and the City of Calgary – representing Sonora, Mexico).


  • BNB DistributionOwner – A distribution company that represents several international dairy brands in South Eastern Alberta.

  • Finn Lake Ltd. – International Development Director – a private Canadian company which develops markets for sustainable products and participates in Import and Export activities that result from these markets.

  • Campbell Andrade S.A. de C.V. – General Manager – a private International consulting company with clients in Canada, Mexico, Central and South America.

  • Ave Maria University Language Institute (AMULI) – Program Manager – Instituto Superior de Economia Y Administracion de Empresas (ISEADE) Masters program – In charge of designing and administering the English language section of the Masters program including the selection and training of teachers and the evaluation and placement of students.

  • La Academia Europea (El Salvador)Operations Manager – Sante Elena, El Salvador office. It is the largest language institute in Central America.  In charge of all program-related operations – including more than 150 teachers and 800 students.

  • Industry Canada – Sustainable Cities Initiative – Contracted to identify and design rural development projects for the Municipalities of Matamoros and Reynosa, in the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico.

  • SE Alberta Economic Development Alliance – Contracted to carry out a gap analysis and design the investment attraction strategy for the South East Alberta Region of Canada.

  • Central America in partnership with Multiplants Inc, (New Brunswick) developed a fully integrated agriculture production systems with the National School of Agriculture and Ministry of Agriculture of El Salvador.
